Miami-Dade Second Fastest Growing County In The Nation Last Year

The study looked at the year beginning July 1, 2023 and ending July 1, 2024.

Miami-Dade County’s net population increase during the period was 64,211, or 2.3%. That is much faster than the national population growth rate of 1%.

On a numeric basis, Miami-Dade’s growth ranked second out of 3,114 counties in the U.S.

Miami-Dade ranked number one out of any county nationwide for net international migration, with a net growth of 123,835 people during the period.
